Learn more about how your generosity and our 100% Giving Model makes it possible for us to be a bright light in a dark place for the families of fallen First Responders.
On August 29, 2017, Brad was protecting the citizens of Crosby when he was exposed to hazardous chemicals during Hurricane Harvey. Brad bravely risked his health and safety to keep others from harm. This was the epitome of selflessness.
As a result, Brad required a lung transplant March 4, 2021. Brad valiantly fought, even after the transplant failed. Brad’s courageous battle peacefully ended March 4, 2024 surrounded with love.
He is survived by his wife, two children, and a grandchild. Through the generosity of our donors, we had the honor of hand-delivering vital resources to help ease their financial hardship while mourning.
There's always a way to be a bright light for the families of fallen First Responders.
