Learn more about how your generosity and our 100% Giving Model makes it possible for us to be a bright light in a dark place for the families of fallen First Responders.
On July 17th 2021, a fire department, a family, a community and many dear friends lost a man named John Matthew Gonzalez. A Galveston Fire Department Firefighter/Engineer, a proud marine, and father of 4 Gonzo was a true pillar in his community. He served in so many unique ways. Whether it was through his church working on projects, through his woodworking building furniture, with his fellow fireman at work, and his most beloved service spending time working with and supporting his kids. This quality of service is what stuck out most with Gonzo. We had the honor of hand-delivering vital financial resources to the Gonzales family— alleviating the strain of immediate needs.
There's always a way to be a bright light for the families of fallen First Responders.
