Learn more about how your generosity and our 100% Giving Model makes it possible for us to be a bright light in a dark place for the families of fallen First Responders.
On August 23, 2021 Paramedic Kyle Martincic had a medical emergency during a physical fitness training session. His fellow paramedics, firefighters and EMTs at the training immediately began life-saving efforts, but Martincic died at IU Health Methodist Hospital. The White River Township Fire Department said Martincic’s death was the first line-of-duty death they’ve had. Martincic joined the department in 2019. He previously worked as a paramedic with the Bargersville Community Fire Department and IU Health Bloomington EMS. He is survived by his wife and two children.
Because of the generosity of those who’ve chosen to Become An Ally, FRBA was able to provide financial relief to the Martincic family, in the midst of their darkest moment.
There's always a way to be a bright light for the families of fallen First Responders.
