The Marble Falls Area Volunteer Fire Department announced the end of watch for Fire Chief Michael Phillips, who went missing after being swept away by floodwaters on July 5.

Phillips, a 30-year veteran of the fire department, was helping others to safety in the early morning hours.

Through the generosity of our donors, we had the honor of hand-delivering vital resources to help ease their financial hardship while mourning.
